In the fourth in our series of interviews thinking about business from different perspectives, Elizabeth Wallace speaks to Roger Steare, The Corporate Philosopher.

A Visiting Professor in the Practice of Organizational Ethics at Cass Business School, Roger is a leadership, culture and ethics advisor to the Boards and senior executives of major corporations, public sector institutions, government and regulators.

He is the author of ethicability® and Thinking Outside the Inbox; and the co-designer of the MoralDNA® Profile.

In their conversation, Roger asks the question, “Why do we lose our personal values in the workplace?” and reminds us that there is more important aims in life than an addiction to growth for its own sake. How we work and what we produce is where we can find the most meaningful reward.
